Products
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. We have a physical store which shares the stock inventory so if an item in our physical store is purchased and sold at the same time as an order for the item online is processed then the online item will not be available immediately or if it is difficult to source then we may need to cancel your order.. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Payments
Credit or Debit card payments: We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners Club Card.
Bank transfer: We accept payment via bank transfer. If we do not receive payment within 10 days your purchase will be cancelled. Our bank details are BNZ 02-0688-0017109-000 and are contained in your confirmation email when you select this payment option.
Payment on collection: If you choose to collect from our Masterton store, you can pay by cash, debit or credit card on collection.
Payment plans: We are happy to arrange a payment plan for larger purchases. Please contact us for more details.
For your safety, all payment details are processed securely. The name that will appear on your statement will be Hedleys Bookshop Ltd. Hedleys Bookshop Ltd is a New Zealand registered company number 9429040944944 established in 1956.
Prices, currency and GST
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Your credit card will be billed in NZD. If you are using an International credit card, please check with your credit card provider for exchange rates and applicable fees. GST must be included for all goods delivered in New Zealand.
We may change the online prices at any time. In the unlikely event a product is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you and may cancel any order placed and refund the full amount of the price paid.
Hedley’s Books has no control over customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable. Please see the shipping section for more information about delivery costs and delivery dates.
Returns
Returns can be made at the purchaser’s expense within 14 days of receipt. We may refuse the return of sale items. Please contact us to arrange a return, then please send your order, correctly packaged with the original order number, to:

Cancelling orders
Once an order has been placed you are welcome to cancel or make order adjustments prior to order dispatch. Note: orders are typically dispatched the same or next day. Please contact us on 06 378 2875 to make a change.

We will also store comments and reviews, if you choose to leave them.
