The Raven’s Eye Runaways by Claire Mabey

Spitchwick, a village on the outskirts of the great city of Wyle, is home to Getwin Goode and her mother, plus her mysterious one eyed raven, Sharp.

The Raven’s Eye Runaways tells the story of Getwin and her hard working book binder mother. One day, while Getwins mother is working, something happens that changes everything. Getwin is suddenly drawn to an adventure….

Meanwhile Lea who is working as a scribe, in Missfall house, receives a letter that was slipped under her door with her food tray. Who was the letter from?

The Raven’s Eye Runaways is a twisting novel that guides you through countless adventures, emotions and thoughts. My favourite part would be the end, not quite a cliffhanger but something that makes the whole view of the story change. If you are into magical books, I would definitely recommend this to readers of the age 10 to 13. I loved this book and it never got boring.

I rate The Ravens Eye Runaways 10/10!
