Elephant Folio size – over 15\” – 23\” tall. 64 beautiful colour plates of early New Zealand produced by Brees who was the principal engineer and surveyor of the NZ Company from 1841 to 1845. Printed on high quality parchment paper and bound in a handsome maroon cloth binding with embossing and gilt decoration and lettering on front. Housed as new in original box.
